GLP provides retainer based specialist advisory and principal investment services to a select group of corporate and private equity clients. Our ability to co-invest in selected private equity opportunities alongside our corporate and private equity clients provides GLP with access to proprietary deal flow and unique opportunities.
Advisory Services
Mergers and Acquisitions
- Unbiased advice of the highest calibre provided by the senior principals
- Advice delivered only to a select group of Corporate and Private Equity Clients and their portfolio companies in order to minimize conflicts
Financing
- Principals have strong access to the key capital providers to the industry
- No “preferred relationships” – GLP can therefore provide impartial advice with regard to capital structure and funding to clients, investors and portfolio companies
Restructuring
- Principals have significant restructuring experience which includes debt and equity representation
- Expertise is used to acquire fundamentally sound operating assets hampered by excess gearing
Principal Investment Products and Services
Leveraged Buyouts
- The Private Equity Client structure, combined with the Operating Executive Investor Network and other private equity relationship institutions, allows GLP to access significant funds to support LBOs in targeted sectors. GLP has the potential to pursue transactions requiring £1+ billion in equity
- GLP co-invests in each transaction alongside its Private Equity clients thereby aligning interests
Development Opportunities
- GLP plans, identifies and executes, with its partners, gaming and hospitality development opportunities and complex asset repositioning. Due to the longer lead times for these projects, these are driven principally by cash on cash return objectives
Mezzanine Investments
- GLP plans, identifies, structures and places with its investors and others, non control mezzanine debt and equity hybrid instruments
